Christmas at the Dearings

Thanks to everyone who came by to see the display this year. We have some ideas for additions and changes for 2012, but we'll have to wait to see what the budget will allow ;)
Be sure and watch for updates and make plans now to come see us again in 2012!!
It is rather sad when the display comes down :(
The yard looks really bare when everything is gone. I got most everything out of the yard except for the mega-tree and it will probably come down tonight. Then the lights on the house will come down this weekend.

The show will run until 12:30 a.m. Christmas Eve so come on by.
We have added a new song requested by my wife, "Rejoice With Exceeding Great Joy". Even if you have already seen the display this year, come back and bring someone with you to see the new addition!

As of Saturday, the show is up and running nightly!!
We had a couple of small glitches opening night, but I got that all taken care of Sunday afternoon and everything is running fine now.
I know some have already been by, but I encourage all of you to come on by and tell your friends and family to come also!!
Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving and got to enjoy some time with family. I know we did!

I got finished with the erecting of the mega-tree last night. The radial yard grid will start tonight and probably finish Friday (possibly Thursday night) Then the last of the items and hookup will take place Saturday for light up Saturday night!

The lights went up on the house over the weekend. I should get the window lights installed during the week. Then items start going into the yard this weekend. We plan to light up either Friday or Saturday night after Thanksgiving. Not sure which yet, it will depend on how the setup goes and the weather. So check back here for up to the minute information.
